Lee "Scratch" Perry & The Upsetters - The Quest download free

Roots Archives notes this as being a "Bogus Release." It consists of tracks that have clearly been recorded from vinyl records with ticks and all. Be careful of CDs on this label which, at first glance seem to have all the right "markings" but turn out to be big let-downs. The Lee Perry website, Eternal Thunder classifies this as "semi-bogus" noting this hodge-podge of tracks do have Lee Perry's fingerprints on them. They've just been lifted and compiled apparently without proper authorization. There are tracks that are mislabeled and even duplicated. All the tracks are available on authentic collections of much better quality. Pre-internet days, these questionable CDs were peddled by a guy who drove around in his van sold them directly to music shops. I will always remember how I felt the first time I got burnt by one of these seemingly homemade "productions." I felt the same way after buying this one.
