Rahul Dev Burman, Gulzar - Aandhi download free

It may not have the psychedelic-rock/latin/disco infused tracks that have made R.D. Burman a well known crossover composer to vinyl collectors the world over but even so, this is one of his very best soundtrack LP's. With lyrics by Gulzar ( who 34 years later would win an Oscar for best song with composer A.R Rahman for 'Jai Ho' in the movie Slumdog Millionaire) 'Tum Aa Gaye Ho Noor Aa Gaya' & 'Tere Bina Zindagi Se' are among the greatest songs either of them have done. Look at any 'Greatest Hits' Burman compilations in the market (or Gulzar compilations for that matter!) It will have one or both of the above mentioned songs on it. I was very pleased to find a vinyl copy here at Discogs! So if you are looking a slab of vinyl, made during the golden age for Bollywood soundtracks, for listening pleasure rather than as a DJ looking for breaks/ beats then search this one out. As it was a more 'serious' Bollywood film the soundtrack does not have have as many songs on it, but here quality trumps quantity!
